North Munster schools XC Print E-mail

Copsewood College in Pallaskenry was the wet and muddy setting for the first outing of schools cross country season of 2012. On Thursday 26th  of Jan 2012 a few brave athletes braved the muddy conditions and took part in the North Munster Schools Cross Country. First up for Dooneen representing Crescent Comp was Eoghan Beary in the boys minor 2000m who managed a good 4th place in a very fast finish. Next up was Suffian Muzzaffar representing the host school took 3rd place in Junior 2500m. In the Inter-girls 2500m Jessica Coyne took control of the 2500m race from the start and took the first place ahead of the Clancy twins from St John's in Clare. Finally have just recovered from a minor illness Shannen Ryan took 2nd place in the Senior Girls 2500m representing Colaiste Ciarain, Croom.

Meet n Train / Fit4Life - Meet n Train / Fit4Life sessions started in Raheen on Friday evenings 6-7pm in February 2010 and has continued on into 2011 with great success. We cater for all levels/abilities...from complete beginners (walk-a-little-run-a-little) to people who may have already run a few 10km runs but want to improve or perhaps move up to complete a half-marathon.
