Dooneen perfom very well in AAI Junior Finals in Nenagh. Print E-mail
On Sunday it was the club's leading Juniors who were in action in Nenagh and enjoyed good success on the day. First into action in the 60m hurdles was Lily Ann O'Hora who like the Munster finals some weeks ago was second to Sarah Lavin in a very good race. Lily Ann also ran the 60m and came home a comfortable fourth place.

She was soon followed by rising rugby star Greg O'Shea who again struck for the first Dooneen gold of the day in a fine run to add to his victory in the Munster final two weeks ago. Next up was leading Irish high jumper Aishling Croke who cleared 1.65m to retain her junior title that she won in style last season and take the club's second gold. Then it was Stehanie Carroll from Fedamore who took to the track for the 400m final and was an impressive second to take silver.

Well done to all on fine performances.
