While many of us were recovering from the Bunratty 10km, the clubs leading long distance athlete Tracey Roche had another great win in the final race of the Ballyhoura series in North Cork last Sunday cruising around the course in an excellent time of 38mins.
Tracey was well with the overall leaders and finished in impressive style, as she continues her intensive preparations for the Dublin City Marathon on the October holiday weekend. Next weekend however its back to Cork again for Tracey as she undertakes the Blarney half marathon and we will watch out for that result.
