Greg O'Shea fresh from his triple event performance for the Irish Schools team in Glasgow last weekend took, another giant stride in his young athletic career this weekend in Tullamore and must now be rated as one of ireland's most exciting up and coming athletic sprint talents.
Having won the 100m a few weeks ago at the same venue, this time out Greg won the 200m title in the impressive time of 23.05 having come second in the heat to Ryan McParland of the City of Derry who had to settle for second in the final.
Also in action in the 200m finals was Fiona O'Shea (no relation to Greg) who had a good result finishing fifth in the final of the girls u14 200m and is another up and coming athlete to watch out for.
Well done to all.
