Success at Schools Cross Country Print E-mail
The schools cross country got off to a good start this week with the North Munster Schools in Jan 17th and the East Munster Schools on Jan 18th. Jessica Coyne (Crescent Comp) took 1st Place in the North Munster Schools Intermediate in Pallaskenry and Club mate Brona Croke(Crescent Comp) took a comfortable 2nd in the same race. Willam Dwyer(Ard Scoil) also in Intermediate finished well up in 25th place in a very competitive race. Julianna Gleeson( Villiers) came home in 13th place in the Junior Girls.
Brigette Murphy (Ursuline's, Thurles) took 4th place in very tight race in  the Junior Girls in the East Munster Schools in Dungarvan on Friday 18th Jan.

The Girls have all qualified to run in the Munster Finals to be held on Thursday 17th February in Cork IT.

Meet n Train / Fit4Life - Meet n Train / Fit4Life sessions started in Raheen on Friday evenings 6-7pm in February 2010 and has continued on into 2011 with great success. We cater for all levels/abilities...from complete beginners (walk-a-little-run-a-little) to people who may have already run a few 10km runs but want to improve or perhaps move up to complete a half-marathon.
