Dooneen AC is  based in Limerick  and caters for over 200 athletes from 8 years of age to adult from all over the Limerick region. Over the last decade the club has been ranked in the top 10 juvenile athletic clubs for both indoor and outdoor athletics in Ireland wih several club athletes having representated Ireland at various levels.

Training Schedule:

Monday:     7pm - 8pm in the Cresent Comprehensive, Dooradoyle [for all ages]

Thursday:  Winter 
6pm - 7pm in St. Clements Gym [for older ages i.e. 12 or older] 
                     Summer 7.00 to 8.00 at the University of Limerck track

Saturday:  
9.45am - 11am in University of Limerick  [for all ages]

Sunday:      Winter
Cratloe Woods [ask at training for more info]
                     Summer 10.00 to 11.00 University o Limerick - if not competing at events.

Note: older athletes may undertake specialist training with individual coaches outside of the above timetable.

Meet n Train / Fit4Life - Meet n Train / Fit4Life sessions started in Raheen on Friday evenings 6-7pm in February 2010 and has continued on into 2011 with great success. We cater for all levels/abilities...from complete beginners (walk-a-little-run-a-little) to people who may have already run a few 10km runs but want to improve or perhaps move up to complete a half-marathon.
