We are based in Limerick City and cater for over 200 athletes from 8 years of age to adult from all over Limerick City & County. We are ranked in the top 10 juvenile athletic clubs for both indoor and outdoor in Ireland. You will find a note of our training schedule including venues on our Training Page. O'Shea reaches National 100m finals in Santry.

David O'Shea completing a marvellous first full season for Dooneen reached the finals of the senior 100m in Santry today, where he finished in a highly creditable 7th position in a time of 10.99. The race was won by Beijing bound Paul Hession. Those watching the RTE 1, 6.01 News will have seen David in action in the red Dooneen singlet in lane 8. 

Also in action in Santry competing in the 200m was Marie Sheehan in a race won by rising Ferrybank star Kelly Proper. Marie finished in 6th place in a time of 26.43.  David's brother Ger ran in the 400m in a time of 52.42 as did Ray Lennon who ran 53.92. Well done to all.
