Banna 10K
This race was hosted by St. Brendan’s A.C. on Sunday. Well done to Aly Hogan O’Curry, who ran 1:04:36, and to John Higgins, who also took part.

parkrun
Alison Flynn ran Cyclopark parkrun in Kent, Cian Aherne (who ran a PB) ran Ballina parkrun, Gerard O’Shea (who ran a PB) ran Ballincollig parkrun, Shane O’Sullivan, Niall Harris, David Rohan, Eileen Reeves (who ran her 50th parkrun!), Katherine Reddan (who ran a PB), Ger Meehan, Meena Verma, and Marion O’Halloran all ran Limerick parkrun, while John Higgins, Ray Enright, Conor Lovett, and Patrick Noonan ran Mungret parkrun.

Dooneen at the Racecourse
Limerick Racecourse is the venue for Dooneen at the Racecourse, featuring the Munster Mile and 5K. This event is a fundraiser for the development of our land in Mungret. It is being run in conjunction with the Limerick Show on Sunday August 25th. Our charity partner for Dooneen at the Racecourse is Pieta House.
Dooneen at the Racecourse is a great family fun day aimed to encourage people of all abilities to run/jog/walk the Munster Mile or 5K in the stunning surroundings of Limerick Racecourse. There will be pacers running 20, 25, and 30 minutes for the 5K. Entry fee for the Munster Mile is €10 for adults, €15 for the 5K, €5 for all U16s, and €25 for a family. All race entries include free entry to the Limerick Show.
All finishers of the Munster Mile will receive a commemorative medal. The first 80 people to enter the Munster 5K will receive a commemorative t-shirt. There is a prize fund of €1000.

Adult Training​
Adult Training takes place on Tuesdays at 6:15pm & Thursdays at 7pm in UL. Long run takes place every Sunday at 9am in UL or Cratloe. Fit4Life/Meet and Train takes place on Fridays in Mungret at 6:15pm. New members & beginners are always welcome. Contact Dooneen Facebook page for more details.
